Horn Furniture UK (Ltd) – Warranty Policy

Effective From: 01/11/2025
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Second-hand or private resale items are not covered.

At Horn Furniture UK (Ltd), we build our products to last. Our warranty protects against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when used in a normal domestic household setting.

5-Year Warranty
Covers:

  • Airlifter sewing cabinets

  • Electric sewing cabinets with integrated lifter mechanism

Includes:

  • Cabinet structure and hardware

  • The electric lifter unit inside the cabinet

  • Replacement parts supplied by Horn UK if required

Items must be assembled and used according to the supplied instructions.

Hobby Chairs

  • Mechanical and structural components (base, castors, gas lift and mechanisms) are covered under our standard warranty.

  • Fabric and upholstery are covered for 1 year, at the discretion of Horn UK.
Damage caused by misuse, pets, staining or cleaning products is not considered a defect.

1-Year Warranty
Covers the Essentials Range, including cutting mats, scissors, accessories and small tools.

Sewing Machine Inserts / Insets
Inserts and insets are custom-made to fit the exact sewing machine model provided at the time of order.
Because they are manufactured specifically for each customer, they are non-returnable and non-refundable unless:

  • The insert arrives damaged or broken

  • There is a clear manufacturing defect

  • Horn UK supplied an incorrect template

If a replacement is required, Horn UK will supply a corrected or defect-free item within a reasonable timeframe.
If the item fits the machine model supplied and is not defective, it cannot be returned—even if the customer later changes their machine.
This policy is set solely by Horn Furniture UK (Ltd).

How Warranty Support Works
If a fault is confirmed under warranty, Horn UK will either:

  • Provide replacement parts, or

  • Repair the product (including a home visit within Zone A where applicable)

If located outside Zone A, Horn UK will still cover the freight cost to send replacement parts.
